Purpose: To provide additional opportunities for public and private sector input and feedback
to the report by the Departments of Commerce and Homeland Security called for by the
cybersecurity workforce provisions of the Executive Order on Strengthening the Cybersecurity of
Federal Networks and Critical Infrastructure.
Objectives:
1) To inform and potentially validate findings resulting from the formal assessment,
deliberations of the interagency working group, and responses to the Request for
Information
2) To raise public awareness of the key areas of focus (e.g., K-12 education, higher
education, training, curricula, apprenticeships, etc.)
